That's great! Glad its helpful. I've never tried pulling it from the top. I looks like a serious PITA. I've pulled mine twice. both times I used this write up. (well the first time i wrote the writeup lol) Good luck with your repair.

i'm going to wager that your LIM gaskets are toast. those are the first things to fail. You should go ahead and search for a new long block. water in the oil destroys bearings. you would need to replace all the bearings, the crank, and the cam shaft along with several other things i'm sure. But its good to check out the damage to be sure.
