Never went out to Canaveral but the launch was amazing none the less from far inland. What a sight to behold especially when they landed the two rockets at the same exact time. SpaceX is making history once again. Only rocket more powerful was the Saturn 5 that last launched in 1976. And they launched the Falcon Heavy from the very same pad they used all those years ago for the Saturn 5 and all the Apollo missions.

Elon Musk now has a Tesla Roadster on its way to Mars.

In other news,
I've maxed my fuel injectors at around 19-21psi. Started going lean but it's richer than it should be so there's a buffer.

Since I do long pulls in the car I've got the boost down to 17-18psi so I don't blow it up. Sucks too cause it starts pulling a world of hurt past 15psi. If the engine will hold together at high boost; this is going to surpass my expectations.

I finally got the 90 4" coupler so I'm putting that on now. But here is a pic with the second screen I made for the intake.

I have a pull video, but I'm gonna wait to get a night pull video and post them both.

Bonus pic. Me and my buds SBC 54 pickup again.

Well I thought I was going to have enough room for a straight 4" coupler and a 4" 90 aluminum pipe to use for the filter.

Turned out the 90 I had was only 3", and the holset doesn't have enough room to have the 4" straight coupler on the front. So I had to order a straight piece of 4" pipe and a 90 coupler in 4". Took FOREVER to get but beat paying $40 for the coupler at a shop.

So I just made a screen so I could drive and tune it while waiting. I was not waiting any longer to drive it with the bigger turbo.

Good news though. If I max out the duty cycle on the EBC, I can always throw the holset oem wastegate back on and start at 25psi instead of 7 lol.

I may be able to reduce some spool time with the ebc, but I'm waiting for a day off to test it.

I'm still figuring out what to buy with my taxes. But I have settled on rebuilding the torsen rear end to get the 3.42s back in and put power to both wheels.

Injectors and a 4 bar map sensor without a doubt.

Also got an eBay seller to drop the price on the NA headers to $180 for me. It'll be the cheapest I could possibly get the header for the drivers side.

Still on the fence about the torque converter, cause well that's $450.

Tires. Welp. There goes another $300.

Man this shit disappears fast LOL.

Well I ordered the rear end stuff and headers to start. Gonna hold on to the rest and put a couple more paychecks in before I spend more.

Got the headers, girdle cover, gearset and end cap studs. Waiting on the book and rebuild kit.

All goes well I should be able to get the header done tomorrow and the rear done next week.

Hopefully.

Gonna save some more and then get the injectors, map sensor kit, torque converter, and some tires.
