![]() i think its tied into that ground somewhere but i'll have to look. there are about 3 maybe 4 grounds on the block and then 2 or 3 grounds on the chassis.
i believe the ecm is tied to both a chassis and block ground. i'll see if the Wiring Diagrams in the haynes manual show which grounds are which |

![]() Normally no. But if it's corroded or intermittent it can wreak havoc cause that's how the ecm will sink current. So if it can't sink the current it goes through other ecm related components

![]() there are 2 pcm grounds. they are both blk/wht wire. its not the only blck and white wire either so trace them to a ground point. both ground should go to the same ground or tie into each other.

![]() Is it bad if I have the negative battery ground attached to the same spot as the PCM ground? BTW, the flickering light issue hasn't come back at all.

![]() The negative battery ground being attached to the PCM ground hasn't caused any issues, so I think I will just leave it be. As of right now, I do have an issue with the engine running lean, but I did buy a bunch of super cheap ebay sensors when I first rebuilt the engine, and now it seems I am paying the price. I got some new O2 sensors for bank 1&2, and a new MAF sensor should be delivered today or tomorrow. In the meantime, I finally received my vanity plate in the mail!

![]() Yeah, a friend of mine helped me weld up some exhaust piping with a high flow cat and a cherry bomb. It was one of the first modifications I did to the car. I've thought about changing it to a nice cat-back dual exhaust, but I really like my cars exhaust note, and I'm worried that switching to a different cat-back will change the note too much.
