Default Welcome, Project: ANGRY FISH

2000 Camaro- Navy Blue Metallic
-124,000 mi, purchased for $2680.
-Automatic Transmission
-16" Alloy Wheels
-Windows are already tinted
-Y3F Sport Appearance Package
-GU6 Zexel-Torsen Limited Slip Differential, 3.42 Final Drive Ratio
-NO FUCKING T-TOPS
But I do have a donor car... Ohhhh Duuuustiiinnnnnn....
-Came with a flipout DVD screen head unit, amp and 2x10's

The bad:
-The dent and scratch on the drivers side hood.
-Passenger front missing valance, will be ordering one tonight from ebay
-Driver rear reverse light lens missing, my buddy has an extra one for me.
-Driver side windshield weather stripping coming out in the corner, not sure how to address that.
-I believe it has a misfire, when I tried getting into it a couple times test driving it, it felt like it was missing. Hopefully that's all it is, since I have everything I need to remedy that with my old car. When the fuck ever I get it back.
-Driver side window doesn't go down, but the switch is missing the unlock button. If it's anything like the wiring on my 'bird, if the circuit is broken, nothing on it works. Also, my buddy has an extra one I will be getting from him.

I'd post more pics, but I can't take it home till the check clears from my bank this week... annnnnd it's 2.5 hours away lol

:Edit:

Disregard the valance for the night, seems the passenger side one on ebay has sold since yesterday. Gay.

Congratulations! Hope you can work out the minor bugs easily. How well is the stereo wired? If they pulled the door panel to replace the speaker it may explain the malfunction of the switch.

Look forward to seeing your progress with the Angry Fish.

Shit no idea, I'll probably just sell the head unit and subs. My pioneer head unit worked fine, I don't need all that flashy shit to increase the likelyness of a break in

Yeah I'm gonna say what I told them on ftv6 as far as the swap goes

"No, just basic stuff. Nothing drivetrain or engine related. I'll do the wheels, seats, springs/ shocks, and if my Whisper lid isn't broken, I'll put that on it. It will be easier to be patient and wait till its nice and I have the time, by not taking headers and exhaust etc off to swap, only to do it again when the motor and trans are ready to migrate."

It my buddies 2000. Performance wise he's all stock. Well I managed to sell him my old Jet Chip a long time ago haha

Besides that he has one of those huge SS hoods, Halo head lights and a a Z28 Berger panel

I figured I would post it here, and have it in the Lounge for a few days before moving it over into Showcase before I get started and it becomes a build thread.

His 2000 Camaro GU6

His brothers 2000 Firebird WS8/ Y87

Fair enough. I've been building my motor for over a year, seems like it will never get done at times but its easier when you have funds, and little things like time and nice weather like you said. Good/important thing is you have a car now.
