Default My lil brother's white 95 Camaro

Recently my brother was given a 95 Camaro for his first vehicle. he's 16 and about to get his drivers licence at the end of the month. I've been working with him on it a few weekends at a time and so far its been "WTH!?"

All i can say it "IDIOTS!"

its not terrible but makes you wonder why they did stuff that way.

Here is his 95.

So far we have figured out that it was loaded. power everything and Bose 4 speaker plus sub woofer system. The system was gutted and the wiring destroyed We ran new wire and installed my 10" RF from my car.

This weekend we tackle the leak proof that is seriously needed. IDK what happened to this car but.... well It don't make much since no matter how you stir it.

The roof was leaking. menaing the headliner was getting wet. so I started pulling up all the body filler that they had slapped on this cars top. It seriously looks like it rolled but without the crushed top. the a pillars look fine and not been modified. but it had to be.

this is what the top of the body actually looks like.

this body filler had so many cracks that the water was getting under the bodywork and going into the car. pulled the boyd work off and we had to fix this gap between the windshield and the body. we filled it with black silicone which should stop water from getting through.

You can see in the picture how dented the surface is...

so next weekend we will hopfully be filling the ttop area with body filler again.

Nothing pisses me off more than seeing people ruin Camaros in ways that don't need to be done. I mean seriously, wtf?

I know the stock system isn't the best, but why trash the wiring? and what the hell were they trying to do with that roof? Or is it a T top conversion like yours xpbr?

Anyways, congrats on having a Camaro family. Is he running a 3.4SFI or an LT1?

his is a 3.4. No way his dad was going to get him a v8 LOL

the roof looks like it sat on the roof. i mean it looks hammer tone. like some one took and beat every part of it with a hammer.

its a rebuilt title so it could have rolled or something. that all i can think of

I thought about this some, maybe a tree or other large object fell on it? That may do similar damage to a rollover but my guess is not quite as severe.

the space between the sail panel and windshield seems shorter than its supposed to be by about .5 inch. Either that or the ttops are a little wider than mine. I'm not sure.

But yeah Could have been anything. the rest of the body looks to be in good shape. its odd that the ttop area looks this bad.

I'm.thinking it was an element damage aka a tree fell on it. No way the quarter panels would have stayed intact if it rolled.

It was free. I don't really think that matters.
