So this is the thread im starting about my whip.

Name: Mary Jane
I met her in June 16th 2013.
She is a 1998 Camaro 3.8L v6
Miles when bought 166,727
Miles on Engine 75,982 ( from a 2000 birdie )
Transmission rebuilt on 5/14/13 before bought
Miles currently 174,986
y87 Package 3.42 Positraction

She Has had a complete heart transplant on October 27th 2013. The previous owners did not treat her well. She wreaked of mildew on the inside and had no AC. Windows off track. Blown Speakers, Bad wiring radio, Bad Battery, Blown fuses, and dry rotted tires.

She has taken me places i never went, ive had more time put into this car than any video game ive played.

Mods:
CAT Delete
2.5" catback Flowmaster 40
Pacesetter headers
Moog Springs Thanks to fbodyrs96
KYB Shocks/Struts
Camaro SS 32mm/19mm sway bars
SLP Air Lid with custom tubing. Idea from Camarozone
z28 Rims Plasti-dipped anthracite gray
Moog Sway Bar bushings, Endlinks.
Slotted and Drilled Front and Rear Rotors
New Trans Mount
New Tie Rods
New Rear differential oil with LSD Additive
Alignment 9-19-2014
Bump stops universal CJ Jeeps
IAC, MAF, MAP, all new 11-14
Read Brake line and t tap replaced October 2015
98-02 V8 4L60E crossmember and LT1 4L60E mount July 2015

Ive basically rebuilt this Camaro. Engine, Trans, Entire suspension, intake, Exhaust etc.


Interior Mods:
Leather Seats from a 95 z28
Door Panels from a 95 v6
Pioneer PRS-80 Head Unit
2 infinity Reference 6.5" Components Mounted custom in doors and A pillars * See Photo *
JL 360.4 4 channel amp
2 Kicker compRT dual 2 ohm subs in sail panels
Audison Srx1D Monoblock amp
4 Gauge Wiring
Blue Leds in Dash, Map lights and Dome

Mods To Come:
Tune for Better shifting and response
SC or Turbo
Polished/Ported Heads
SS rims or C6 rims
ETC

took me a while. Just sent tou the pic of my old IAC. Looks Nasty. Thread is slowly being updated. Waiting on New Rotors, SLP lid, shocks, Springs and maybe a few other things.

indeed. I like to see what others have done to their rides. We love to see pics. kinda brings me back to some of the days working on mine doing similar stuff.

I wanted to have some memory of the car and my personal touches when i want to see it if i get rid of her.

Yeah I have probably 1000s of photo on my thread of my different things ive done to it over the years. like a photo diary of sorts. lol

Dude, I'd ditch that intake tubing and get the zzp tubing.. I had it on my 98 and the loop you're making looks like crap. I had that as well..

Also I don't know why everyone that does the loop uses that 90 bend? That's the first thing I ditched.





I think it will perform better, it can look cleaner, and its just a better solution..

This is what it looked like when I got it.



My loop constantly rubbed my fans and leaked like crazy.. I just don't see it as a really good solution.

I will do it my way. I prefer to set it up my way. Yours looks more restrictive as it looks to be narrowing the intake. and if it hits your fans you have an issue. The fans are blocked by guards to avoid contact.

Plus its cleaner, Looks better. If it leaked you had issues. This thing is tight and had no leakage.

do not pust that stuff looks like crap, because in reality YOUR setup is disgusting looking and not clean. your narrowing the air.

ZZP Tubing is the same thing as the spectre. No difference. Dont like it? go away.
