Did I mention that I sourced some jy fog lamps from a '98? They were practically a bolt on! And I restored the headlamp lenses too...

Well I guess I can't even use tapatalk right. Ha! I have to hold the phone in landscape for a pic.
Finally got the amp wiring in...
Also, found this to be very handy for exhaust work...

looks clean.

I've used one of those expanders... they are somewhat of a bitch to use on thick pipe.

Thanks man! Oh yeah I bet! This was just some cheap pipe from O'Reilly that I'm using to patch it up for now. It worked a lot better after oiling the threads that make it work...plus I had a 90 bend in the pipe to hang on to.

Changing out my seats for 2004 Pontiac Sunfire seats. They're the same seats!!! Just gotta swap the bases.

pontiac seat were always nicer than the camaro seats. you also got more options for the seats than you did in the camaro. all the camaro seats are basically the same

Agreed! Firebirds got the cool dash vents too! The Camaro seats are comfy enough imho, but mine was worn down to the foam!
UPDATE: I don't have the heart to post a pic yet, but I didn't notice that the back of the Sunfire seat is bent back on the right (inboard) side.

Seriously it sucks but I learned a LOT. The seats are almost identical in shape and bolt pattern even though they're 10 years and a brand apart. Much better materials in the newer one.

Has anyone done the research about how new of seats will bolt to our bases? Maybe like a 2008 Cobalt or something? Pontiac Solstice seats? HA! Better luck finding a Firebird seat...
If not, I will do my best to learn about them for all of us. Maybe Corvette seats?
