The hvac controls are a bear to change if you break the bulb,i did both of mine,i had to finish breaking them with a small screwdriver,i mean very small one.and i put the new leds in and they look great.

I just did my HVAC lights 3 days ago. YES!!!!!!!!! I had to do the exact same thing you did. PITA!!

I've never had one break, just grab it with pilers and pull it right out.

yeah doing the gauge cluster doesnt work on the birds as there is an orange gel. pisses me off because i wanted to change colors
