Yup, people at advance auto don't know shit. And surprisingly everything is going smoothly, didn't think I had it in me haha.

As far as cooling elbows go, anyone have any recommendations? So far I've only found these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=238726019031 and I've heard mixed things about them... anyone have anything better?

Seems like everyone has run into this problem huh. Damn GM what were you thinking? :P

There is only 1 elbow, but the one that you have shown is the wrong one. Its only 4 dollars or something at most places. Most places sell them in a double pack since the fwd ones have 2, but we only use the bigger one. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...7_155956_2826_

No, there's 2 elbows on our 3800 and those are the right ones. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...7_155956_2826_ I know this cause I replaced mine twice last year.

They are in the Help! section at Autozone for $4.

Where would the second one be then? On mine and the Firebird there was only one. Nevermind, went and looked as his pics he does have 2 of them. On mine and the Firebird and pretty much every other one I've seen, the other one is part of the assembly.
