haha.. i use satellite anyway. i have a stubby antenna in the fender and shaved my antenna as well.

I thought about doing the shaved antenna thing on my cars but didn't know where to mount the glass antenna. I might do this to my Infiniti.

Up high on the windshield or rear window. They come with plenty of wire length.

I bought the UMI shorty antenna and it seems to work ok, sadly it faded. I am either going to paint it or powder coat it when I get around to it.
