Well its running good. Damn good. I just need to stop the coupler from slipping off the turbo above 15psi lol.

Next week I'll have a video or two. Keep in mind the car has 2.72 rear gears right now, so it'll surely be faster when the torsen goes back in with the 3.42s.

Gonna grind a lip onto the turbo outlet to stop that coupler from popping off. Then I'm going to take these 36lb injectors to the limit. Car already pulls like a freight train until the coupler slips. But I've got a good 11:1 AFR at 15psi. So as long as it doesn't start to lean out I'll run it as close to 21psi as I can for now.

The holset was spooling real slow when I drove down to lakeland to pick up those brakes. Since I had to cut more threads and chop some rod off the actuator to make it fit, and didn't feel like pulling the turbo to cut a few more threads, I just unbolted the canister, lifted it up, and put a couple washers to raise the canister a hair. Worked perfect. Spools fast and hard now. The boost threshold isn't much higher than the other hotside, but is so much less restrictive the car doesn't stop pulling up top and I can peg the Rev limiter quick now.

Before the car would struggle to hit the limiter. Just shows how much restriction there was. Was much more than I thought.

Getting rid of the log header on the drivers side should let it spool a couple hundred rpm sooner.

Going to hunt down a 3.42 ring and pinion, some ARP carrier bearing studs, 10 bolt shim and seal kit and an LPW cover brace. Should be plenty for my power level.

Injectors
Torque converter
4 bar MAP sensor
10 bolt stuff
Drivers side header
TIRES
And probably an oil change.

I've raised my idle to 1000 in park to keep minimum oil pressure at idle lol.

At least there's another local 3.4 for sale. Maybe there's a 3.4/3500 hybrid in the future? Lol.

I may as well just drop the cash on an LS if it comes around lol.

Oh. And when you don't want to make a mess with coolant, just use Gravity.

Physics for the win.

Well between the alternator being shitty and wanting to keep the oil pressure up to not kill the Holset, no.

I've only got around 13.2v at idle. Which is a bit on the low side, but it's been like that forever.

I really need to just get a relocation kit and a sealed battery and put it in the spare tire well below the amp.

Really really thinking about driving the Camaro out to Cape Canaveral to watch the falcon heavy launch for the first time. Maybe even grab some pics.

Hopefully I can find a good spot and get the car with the rocket going up in the background.
