But I've been in contact with Ben Phelps at Wot-Tech and were working out a custom grind and going from there for lifters and springs etc. But it looks like I'll be able to order something up by mid-week, a couple weeks to grind and I'm guessing a few weeks to ship. Hopefully it's not too expensive to get it shipped all the way up here
well that sucks. will that not mess with the crank? balance and stuff?

Well, hopefully going to finalize the order tonight, but I'm getting a custom cam similar to the street/strip cam. 2-6k powerband with a 6200 max shift point. Also going to get the Comp 26986 Valve springs, going to keep the stock seats/stem seals. Not sure what I'm going to do for the lifters just yet because I'm waiting to see what they recommend. Ben is going to take my milling measurements and apply them to the heads and block along with the gasket i'm going with to get a measurement for the custom length hardened pushrods. Along with that I'm going to order a cloyes double roller timing chain. Pretty stoked to finally get the cam taken care of!

Oh hell yeah it is!! And I'm supposed to be picking up my block today as well! Then it's time to read a few threads on the best way to paint a block haha. Any idea on lifters anyone? Cus I don't have the slightest clue :/

Yeah I'm no mechanic but having larger pistons on cyl, wouldn't that make it a little out of balance?

Well, cam and pushrods have been ordered! Going to look into whether studs or bolts are better for the heads, brought the crank in to be ground and balanced, picked up my heads, decided on a colour scheme and started cleaning up the intake manifolds! Overall a productive day! I'll post pics of the manifolds when they're done tomorrow!
