Default ditching the fly by wire

I have a 99 camaro with fly by wire. Im wanting to go cable throttle body. What all is needed to do this? Is there. Throttle body I can use of another car or am I stuck with getting a upper intake and cable throttle body and new harness and computer for a 97 3.8

you will also need pedals, and its 95-98 that are cable driven. the 99-02 dbw are completely different pcms and so are the senors on the intake, they have things we don't have and vise versus.

I saw on the Pontiac 3.8 non supercharged model. Like 97 98 years the throtle body looks almost like the 95-98 fbodys. But thegrand prix TB has a tps and iac built into. I was thinking maybe that one will work so I wont have to swap upper intake forniac

Why exactly do you want to switch? My 2002 has great throttle response.

Ours has those to, but yours doesn't. Would be way more work and trouble than its worth.

On the camaro the iac is in the uim and the 3.8 grand prix the iac and tps is built into throttle body

So that way I wouldnt have to replace umi. Throttle body swap and harness and pcm swap. Hopefully it will be that easy

What about a ls1 TB it has iac and tps built in to that but I would need to get a different kind of maf and I know the throttle cable is on the pass side. What kind of maf should I need if indid the ls1 tb. ?

Im guessing nobody has ever done this before? I cant find any forum or anything about doing this. I was kinda hopeing to find something about this and maybe theres a way to wire a iac and tps from the wires that are already there in the fly hy wire harness.
