![]() I run the GTO trans, so the ratio is different from the LS1 F-body setup.
Also I have 3.42's. I can start in 2nd gear, but it is smoother in 1st, even if it is short.

![]() I made a spread sheet. Looks like my t-5 on 3.73's has almost the same first gear range of the gto t-56 on 4.56's and a similar 5th vs. 6th.

![]() I think the biggest thing with the T-56 swap is that this offers even more durability over the T-5 when you start making serious power and can still retain things like your speedometer compared to using the G-force T-5.
I'm happy with the ratios though, it's a huge leap over having a 4L60E.
