Default Clutch pedal is hard as a rock

Hey everyone, I'm new to this site. I just done a clutch swap on my 96 and drove it for 20 minutes last night. The clutch pedal all of a sudden got rock hard. Any ideas as to what it could be?

The issues I see that can cause what you describe are as follows

-blockage in the line (check the connection at the bell housing)
-Something is blocking the pressure plate where the slave cylinder applies the pressure
-something is caught on the pedal (unlikely since you only messed with the clutch.

My bets are on the line connection. or something blocking the pressure plate. I've had a springs breakout of the clutch and fall in the middle where the spring forks are.
