Default Scissor Jack from Harbor Freight

I know it isn't all that sexy, but I find it difficult to use a standard floor jack with my car. I do have some blocks to drive up on but that can be a pain because I never have a spotter to help me.
I looked around at scissor jacks and actually found the 1.5 ton ones from Harbor Freight have an adapter attached to the top for using on unibody cars like ours. The part number is 66907 and I bought two in case I need to lift an end or side all at once.
Naturally they are not nearly as fast as hydraulic, but they get the job done and do not take up a lot of space to work around and the handle won't bang against the body.
The threads are not greased like on the emergency jack so I bought a tube to apply to the threads before my first use.

Of course they are for lifting only and should only be used in conjunction with jackstands.

Here is a link:

I don't know how long they will hold up. If these fail I did find unibody adapters for floor jacks online so will try them next.

I always had to jack up the right side and then put a jack stand there, then go to the front and get under the cradle and jack up the whole frontend then reposition my jack stand and put one on the driver side.

Damn purple beast was lower than my low profile jack

I have a low profile one from harbor freight that I can barely squeeze under my car. Keep in mind mine is lowered. I don't do it though because I have had it slip off the subframe before though.

Idk what different about my car for all you other pro kit guys. but mine must still sit a little high. it rides great but i'm really not much lower. yeah i can notice its lower but I still can run mine up my 8" steel ramps and get my floor jack under it.

Sounds like we all have to get a bit creative. I suppose that's all part of the fun.
