Default T56 shifter on a t5

Does anyone know if u can put a t56 shifter on a t5 someone is selling a short throw t56 shifter and I want to see if it fits my t5

it will not fit. it has to be made specifically for a camaro t5 due to the slight angle that the t5 shifter is at and i read that the part that mates to the shifter block and too long or short. I believe T5 STS are pretty hard to find at a reasonable price nowadays. I have a B&M STS and i know it has been discontinued. Hawks motorsports has a t5 idk if its STS or not. i would assume so otherwise whats the point but its also 200+

now, with that being said, you can do a t56 swap and then use a STS for a T56. lol that is quite a lot of work just to have a STS but they are so good to have.
