Mini update.

What a ride to pick this thing up.
2 hours one way virtually next door to Sebring Raceway.

Fully dressed 112k mile 3.4.
Let the real fun begin.
I swapped the last 3.4 in before I really got to do everything I wanted to it.

This time will be different.

The belt was still on there, just riding on the back of the idler bracket. How it stayed on I have no clue. It was pretty loose lol.

Update.

Took her out the other day and thoroughly put her through the paces. 4th gear holds strong at extended WOT. WOT 3-4 seems a little too mushy to be comfortable doing it often. A new drum, extra wide 2-4 band, and the sonnax super 2-4 servo should tighten it up.

Other than that it'll still ride out in 4th. WOT results in boost creep up to my 21psi spark and fuel cut in 4th. 2nd and third hold strong at 18psi.

Beat it hard enough to drop it to 4 psi oil pressure at hot idle. Though I do have some wrap for the crossover now. It is close enough to the oil pan that it could heat up the oil excessively. Being the oil pressure gauge is literally one of the first things to get the oil from the pan, it is plausible that it's not actually that low from worn bearings.

I mean, I know they're worn, but it's held together all this time without failing, so they can't be that bad. LOL
