Nothing really new here but I'm going to be making my power steering rack a manual rack. Cause who wants to buy a new rack and power steering pump? LOL.

I'll take some pics. Shouldn't be too hard. These Accords didn't come with manual steering so I can't just swap in a manual rack. And a Civic rack is too narrow and mounting bolts are in the wrong spot.

So basically I'll be pulling apart the rack, new seals where the inner tie rods go, cut the power cylinder off the main rod, seal all the openings where the lines were, pull all the valves out of the valve body by the pinion, clean the fluid from everything, and coat all the internals with heavy duty wheel bearing grease.

And that's how it's done. Hopefully it goes that simple LOL

So it's made 2 trips to Raleigh, NC, with a stop at Angels Oak Tree in SC, and a stop at Bonaventure Cemetery in Thunderbolt, Georgia for some photography on the way back. Also did some photography in Falls Lake, NC. Averaged 32mpg. It's paid itself off and the check engine light is still off

Oh and I put the stickers on today. I left 2 out.

Not to mention the pizza delivery I've been using it for since May LOL. It had 230k on the odo when I swapped the bottom in. It just rolled 250k. So 20k miles so far so good.

Gonna have to replace the passenger output shaft seal again. Still leaking after the first replacement.

Have a lead on a $250 94 Accord. Tree fell on it during Irma. Has the bumper I want, a drivers side door, my ODB1 swap, with lots of new stuff on the engine, another F22 non vtec engine, with an auto trans. Hoping for leather interior LOL. Amongst other stuff I would find very useful for my 96.
